The Parish Finance Council serves as an advisory Council to the Pastor and assists the Parish staff in budgeting, monitoring and reviewing the Parish finances. In some cases, the Finance Council's approval is needed for large purchases or initiatives. The Council meets monthly and provides periodic reports to the Parish. All reports to the Diocese are prepared by the bookkeeper and appropriate staff, and reviewed by the Pastor and Finance Council Chair before submission.
The Pastor appoints Finance Council members for fixed terms according to the Diocesan guidelines; the Finance Council Chairman also serves as the Treasurer of the Parish's corporate entity.
The current Finance Council members are:
