Pastoral Council
The Parish Pastoral Council consists of eight Parishioners, provides support to the Pastor and helps foster the full participation of Parishioners in the life and mission of the Catholic Community of St. Rose and The Mission of the Good Shepherd, as well as the Universal Church. Parish Pastoral Council members are elected by Parishioners for a term of three years and may serve for two consecutive terms.
The last elections were held in 2008.
While members of the Parish Pastoral Council are generally elected to serve, the Pastor may appoint a member to fill a vacancy. The Pastor also appoints the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson from the elected members; these appointments are for three years. The Pastoral Council Chairman serves as the Secretary of the Parish's corporate entity.
Parish Pastoral Council members must be registered in the Parish, be Catholics in good standing with the Church, attend Mass regularly, and be available for the Council's meeting on the third Thursday of every month, as well as other projects that the Council may undertake.
