Volunteering to serve on the Welcoming Committee is a great way to get to know other people and requires only the time individual members are able to give.

Committee members do everything from making phone calls to invite new Parishioners to attend a Welcome Reception to copying information and assembling it in the Welcome Packets this Committee provides. Assistance is also needed (and appreciated!) in setting up the Welcome Reception, providing food and beverages to new Parishioners who attend, extending a warm welcome and a hand of friendship to them, and cleaning up when the Reception ends.

If meeting new people and helping them feel comfortable in a new environment is something you enjoy, we invite you to join our Committee.
