The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick

The Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick is one of two sacraments that heal and save a baptized person. The other is the Sacrament of Penance.
Anointing of the Sick is not a sacrament only for those who are at the point of death. When anyone of the faithful begins to be in danger of death from sickness or old age, the fitting time to receive this sacrament has arrived.
